Path to LEGENDARY

Posted by: Themark in Untagged  on

After nearly 6 years of play, archieve something really important and big is something nearly unbelivable, but that can become true, when you have people helping and supporting you with such great love.

That is why I wanna first thanks Maverickv/Jadòre for his great help, without him this wasn't surely possible, Slamdorff for his moral support and then, in the end but not lesser important, my whole guild with a special eye to the officers, the same officers recruited me as retribution paladin when everyone was hating and spitting(or even not knowing) on that spec, the same officers that belived in me and gived me the chances to prove myself and my paladin during these years.

Thanks guys, so here we go TOGHETHER on this new road, to archieve TOGHETHER this brand, new, great goal! And I am sure we will do it, as usual, in SERENITY style, with some wipes, some laughs, some drama, and.... with some donuts!

Said this, hello brothers, yes, the path to legendary have started, it isn't anymore a dream, but something really concrete. For me and everyone else here having this great opportunity, this is a goal, each one will be able to archieve get this, for the whole ret community. Becouse this is the end of a fight, a fight long 5 years to have retribution accepted in raids, and be assigned to get a legendary weapon is definitely the proof we archieved what we fighted for. So...... GRATS TO ALL RETS! Out of words :)

OFFTOPIC

After this image spam :) I DON'T wanna thanks the so brave alliance memebers on my server that killed this poor cute and harmless cow clearly in courtesy visit

And please, someone stop chinese!!! XD

FAREWELL BROTHERS, may the light help me and you to kneel this dark weapon to serve the righteousness!

Well, just few days ago I was ranting of not being able to have a damned decent weapon for the whole expansion,  and finally, on my birthday(3 january) this damned game for one time decided to make me a gift...

WHICH KIND OF GIFT???

OH YEAH BABY!!!

Yes finally something that can be called WEAPON, and one of the coolest ever designed for this game, this year wasn't able really to start better :)

The chain quest is pretty long but very entertaining, you can solo all except 2 heroics that are required, on the third you can solo, atleast as paladin ;).

Visit back again The Sunwell in a reconquered version is really beautiful and a pleasure for eyes

Well here is me finally with Quel'Delar, Might of the Faithful :)

I can only say that the hordies that have meeted me in battlegrounds with this aren't surely happy as I am :P

Farewell Brothers, at the next tale, may the light bless you!

The end of one other year and the start of a new one

Posted by: Themark in Untagged  on

Hello all, I start wishing you had a great Christmas and hope a happy new year :)

Said that it is nearly the end of this 2009, time to make some toughs of what happened to see what this new incoming 2010 can bring us.

It was indeed a great year start for retribution but it don't ended so well with the bad handled nerfs we received(for pvp) with nothing in excange. Out of that, I finally enjoyed battlegrounds again after the bad burning crusade, I admit I don't have played arena at all in this expansion, think season 3 for shoulder in tbc getted my nervs out for arena, so finded battlegrounds again enjoyable and well doable with pve gear(specially if you have a good pve guild ;) ).

What was really bad of this year for me was the unlucky of not being able to get a decent weapon, for a reason or other I always missed the raid when it dropped, or being outbidded in dkp for 2 dkp points lol(that's what happened for heroic justicebringer XD), so I runned for the full expansion with bad 10 man version weapons(geez), and even with that able to kick ass in dps versus who was better geared than me.

So new year, after some "trash" talk on ventrilo in yesterday raid something interesting my come up, and maybe i will start and then end this expansion with the best weapon ingame who knows

This year reserved also some surpises and adventures(some bad like the one down here)

I let you figure what happened one minute later....

But well, out of that the balance of the year goes on "GOOD" as i hope was for you all too :)

So happy new year with the hope of lesser lolbursting26kin3secsskilllollocks eleshammyes loljumpingarcanebarragemages around :)

Hugs and may the light bless and protect you all brothers, cya in the new era!

The taste of being a Paladin

Posted by: Themark in Untagged  on

Today was one of the kind of days that makes you smile and keeps your hearth warm, you all know, Blizzard revamped that old black lady in Dustwallow. Being for 5 years on this game, and have the chance to turn back again on some places with a group, having a bit of challenge and some laughs have no price, but when an item drop, a class item, in this case the ret version of the reworked Judgement helm, makes you thrill something in your head, you start to breath faster and think "it should be mine", yes, becouse even if I have already killed that Dragon so many times and obtained the original Helm with great exitement, I feeled like the young noob I was, like a children that see a new shiny toy and he must have it.

Well in the end I got it :D and having the same feelings as 5 years ago was unpayable, wanking around in cityes again with that "crown" on head and having the other paladins drooling and whispering "gief!!!", having more horde on you in bg's just only becouse you have that HELM, a real Paladin Helm, really, there is no price for it, and ofc finally some more paladinish look, not spacegoats :D

This was ingame, in RL I got a good new, my cousin that was in coma from a crash with motorbike  have finally weaked up, so tomorrow I am heading to pay a visit to him.

That was really a great and good day, a Paladin day.

May the light be with you brothers, cya next time ;)

 yours Themark.

Horde and Honor

Posted by: Themark in Untagged  on

I always tough Horde(Orcs and Taurens in general) should have a strong sense of honor, and what does it matter during fight and out of fight.

In the years I was proved wrong, it becomed worse and worse, and think this year, atleast on my server, we have touched the bottom, orc warriors running back in range of healer even if they are in advantage of HP left(80% to 20%) and not moving out from that range. But the bad thing in my opinion was this, you know, it is October, and now we have to honour our falled champions, for alliance there is Uther, and for horde there is Grom.

Since I always respected such a great champion like Grom, I always paid a visit to his tomb too in this period, always meeted hordies honoring his tomb, kneeling, resting a bit and so on.

This year my hearth got a bad surprise, the place was totally desert, just 4 candles and one totem at his tomb, I'd hope the situation in incoming days will change, but I have my doubts.

Well someone can point out I am an idiot, it is a game, and so on, but even if it is a game, is a game you play with others, and how you act in this virtual world, reflect how you really are in real world too, and this simply tells me on horde side there is no more good people, that is just sad.

Out of this rant, have all a good weekend ;)

Yours Themark.
